0:01 Clip: Jeff Atkinson (2) :
Hi I’m Jeff Atkinson, I’m a singer/songwriter, I play guitar, harmonica and sing for the most part. I dabble in bass in drums but tonight I’m busking outside of the CIBC on Queen St. I’m not handing out cash from the ATM as some think I might be doing, I’m just simply playing some of my original songs from 7 until 11. It’s a long set, I’ll make sure to take lots of breaks.

0:30 Josh Osbourne Musician:
I’m Josh Osbourne, I’m a 28 year old musician/student in Fredericton. I’ve been in Fredericton only 2 years, so this is only my second Harvest and uh I didn’t get a chance to play at the first one I’ve heard about it for years so it’s pretty cool to be playing outdoors right in the thick of things.
I think it would be really great to get a stage of some kind next year and really be involved, but if not maybe a gig like this because either way it’s fun, you know? It’s a good time.
1:17 Beth Eisbrecht Harvest Volunteer:
My name is Beth Eisbrecht and I’m volunteering with the buskers and also enjoying a really awesome band that lives down the street from me… they’re called Weak Sized Fish. They’re a collection of boys, I don’t think all of them are here right now, there might even be a substitute tonight, I don’t know. But we listen to them a lot in our house. We really like them a lot. We try to go see them every time we can, this is kind of an additional show we didn’t even know was going on. Yeah, we’d all been planning on Saturday to go and today we were just volunteering and we were lucky because Weak Size Fish is here.

2:20 Weak Size Fish:
I’m Matt Bernard, Mitchell Bernard, I’m Nick, I’m Brian.
Nick: Brian doesn’t play in the band.
Matt: He played today though.
Nick: He did play today.
2:42 Matt Bernard:
I feel pretty good about that, I always love playing the acoustic, bringing everything down to its bare bones of the songs and just like, I don’t know, slowing things down, changing things up, bringing new stuff out. We had a new song that we played twice for the first ever time.
Nick Mazerolle:
I just showed Matt the song like a half an hour before we even got down there.
3:12 Matt Bernard:
The town just turns into this big musical atmosphere, you know? Music everywhere. To be a part of that is pretty sweet.
Nick Mazerolle:
Yeah, it’s a good time.
