Features, This Week's Edition Saturday, November 14th, 2009Reggie Peters sits in the Spanish monitor room, books pushed out in front of him. The sun streams in through the beige
blinds, creating a soft glow in the room. The light hits Peters and glints off his moustache.
“Apparently, there’s cheap beer at the Cellar for anyone with a moustache,” he says. “That makes me happy on so many levels.”

Men can grow moustaches and raise money as a group. At the end of the month, the group has the option to take a picture and post it on the official Facebook Movember group. Whoever has the best picture wins a prize. Peters isn’t raising any money this year, but he says the awareness factor is there.
“If you look on campus, you see all the guys on the hockey team, on the rugby team, they’re all growing their moustaches,” he says. “They all look dirty. Everybody looks dirty right now, but it’s for a good cause.”
