Fourth year St. Thomas student Jeremy Varner started P.H.A.D last year. The organization is aimed at creating awareness, along with fundraising, for Parkinson’s Disease, heart defects, Alzheimer’s disease and Diabetes. The group recently held an event at the St. Thomas campus, which Varner hopes will be just one of his many talks about the illnesses. Corinne Frost was at the event.
