Jayne Erickson

Hi! My name is Jayne Erickson, and I’m a fourth year journalism student from Bedford, Nova Scotia. Over the past few years, my focus has narrowed onto radio and television journalism, so that’s where you’ll see the most of me. I am also a member of the women’s volleyball team here at St. Thomas. I’ve loved trying to juggle the ball and the camera, and my work here is an example of some pretty ferocious time-management skills.

Feel free to comment on any of my stories – I’d love to hear what you think! You can also check out my blog at www.njayneerickson.wordpress.com, but please be patient as I try to master this new-fangled thing called “technology”.

Enjoy!

    Hey Jayne,
First off, I just wanted to tell you that your such an inspiration to me! I’m also a journalism student but at Ryerson University in Toronto and I think what you’re doing is great! I was searching the Gillet Drafted audtitions on the internet and then I saw your audition and it was phoenonmial! And don’t know how you didn’t win. I also saw some of your broafcast videos online, which are also very well done. Anyways, I just wanted to say awesome job and keep pushing because your really something speacial!
