The Christ Church Cathedral was built by a man named John Medley in 1845. In 1863, he remarried a second wife by the name of Margaret Medley. He used to work late, so Margaret would leave their house on the corner of king and church to bring her husband, the Bishop, his supper. Legend has it, some people have seen her ghost leaving the house, bringing food to her husband.
