Canada is one country with the worst animal cruelty laws in the world. Jody Carr, PC politician, says New Brunswick is one of the “best places to abuse an animal.” What is anyone doing about this?

To vote or not to vote

My problem is that I am swayed by the opinions around me. I am not passionate about politics so I honestly could not tell you who was running for what. Or who is the candidate for which party? The only reason names like Shawn Graham, David Alward, Greg Bryne etc… are remotely familiar to me is because I see their faces all over the city plastered on wooden signs. I am not ignorant; I am just not keen on politics.

Scene 1: I’m in a tiny, locked room. There are mirrors on all four walls, forcing me to examine myself from all angles. The overhead lighting is making my winter white skin glow and, oh yeah, I’m naked. No, this isn’t a torture scene from a horror movie, and I’m not a prisoner of war [...]
