X really did mark the spot on Nov. 20 as local artists came out to support Gallery Connexion, Fredericton’s only artist run centre, at their first fundraiser since the 2008 flood that left the gallery homeless for nearly a year.

Locals honour ‘musical genius’

Although he died 27 years ago, Stan Rogers remains a loved Canadian folk icon. Saturday night, 10 fans took the stage at the James Joyce Pub to honour him through music.
